Kodak Ektar 100 - comparison digital vs analog

I went out and thought about doing a quick comparison on using a roll of Kodak Ektar 100 versus a digital filmsimulation of this film stock. The Ricoh GR has a great fixed lens, giving you a view of 28mm. I mounted the Elmarit 28mm on my Leica M4p, which is also a great performer.

I was shooting same apertures and shutterspeeds, disregarding the different DOF. I was only interested in the rendering and how a digital filmsimulation would look in comparision to the real 35mm film stock. Also one shot is showing Fuji X-Pro 1 RAW file, processed with Ektar 100, using the Leica lens Elmarit 28mm (which gives you a 42mm on the Fuji). All negatives been scanned on a Fuji Frontier in medium seize (8MP). I set white balance to "sun" on the digital cameras.

Please note, this is not a scientific experimental setup!

Enjoy and happy shooting.
