Staufen

On a very sunny and unusual warm weather before christmas 2015, we decided to visit the small town Staufen, 30 minutes away from Freiburg. Staufen im Breisgau is a German town in the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district of Baden-Württemberg. It has a population of approximately 7,600 inhabitants. It is noted in history and culture for its association with Dr Faustus who, according to legend, sold his soul to the Devil.

All pictures taken with Leica M3 and Summicron 50/2 with yellow filter. Kodak TX400, pulled 1 Stop, souped in Xtol. Scanned by meinfilmlab on Fuji Frontier.
