Fuji X-E2 and Velvia

A sunny day invited me to capture the beautiful light on this afternoon, when suddenly it got cloudy. I am not using Velvia filmsimulation on my Fuji X-E2 too often, but for this scene it seemed to be perfect.I set the film on high contrast and saturation (color), protecting the highlights.

Again, I am impressed about the dynamic range and how Fuji renders the jpg. I did only sharpen a bit and reduced highlights on this image. The prime lens 27mm been used. I don´t think 27mm is odd ( I read this a couple of times), but it all depends on your taste...I find this focal length very natural to the eye´s view...

    Calf deep in the water with my tripod and the Fuji X-E2 to take this long exposure of one of my favorites works from Fugetsu. It started to rain which added these drops on the teapot. Exposure set to 40 seconds and using Velvia filmsimulation.
