Exhibition at SPACE Tokoname
SPACE Tokonabe is one of the finest shops to buy traditional japanese pottery craft in Tokoname. The store used to be an old pottery factory with potter's wheels and machinery.
The building was built around 1955 and at that time the small factory was making Ranhachi, bonsai pots and flower pots. The owner, Mrs. Sugie Keik offers a large selection of handmade ceramic art from Tokoname´s resident craftsman. From young artists to old Masters you find a variety of teapots, tableware, incense burner and tea. SPACE Tokonabe exhibiits some of my works "Kyushu in nature".
